About
David Finkbeiner was born in the state of Oregon. He grew up in the three states of Idaho, Washington and Oregon. He finished his education at the University of California at San Francisco. In 1965 he moved to New York to pursue his career in art and taught for 30 years at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. After spending a number of years in Italy during the summer he moved there permanentantly in 1999.
